The ABRomics team at JOBIM 2026

From June 30 to July 3, 2026, the French Institute of Bioinformatics (IFB/ELIXIR-FR) was in Strasbourg to participate in the JOBIM 2026 national conference (Open Days in Biology, Computer Science, and Mathematics, https://premc.org/jobim-2026/), the annual event for French bioinformatics and biostatistics. The goal of this event is to showcase scientific and technical advances in bioinformatics, as well as new services developed to meet the needs of the life sciences and health communities.

Part of the ABRomics development team took part in the poster sessions to present the platform’s new features.

Three posters related to ABRomics were presented during these four intensive days of scientific sessions:

● “PanGBank: a Database of Pangenome Graphs for Comparative Microbial Genomics” by Jean Mainguy and Téo Lemane

● “Retrieval-Augmented Generation over Genomic Reports in the ABRomics Platform: Towards AI-Assisted Antimicrobial Resistance Research” by Raphaël Tackx

● “cgMLST typing in the ABRomics web platform” by Julie Lao
