Antibiotic resistance is a major global public health issue and threatens the effectiveness of anti-infective treatments. The ABRomics project is a national multi-omics platform aimed at strengthening and improving surveillance and research on antibiotic resistance from a “One Health” perspective. The platform brings together scientific partners with a wide range of expertise in microbiology and bioinformatics to develop tools and knowledge to improve the detection and monitoring of these bacterial resistances.
