– A presentation of the platform by Claudine Médigue
December 16 | 10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | ABRomics: an integrated platform for antibiotic resistance research and surveillance
ABRomics aims to address a major public health issue: antibiotic resistance. Multidrug-resistant bacteria (MDRB) and antibiotic resistance genes carried by mobile genetic elements are spreading between humans, animals, and the environment. ABRomics is a secure, multisectoral, open digital platform designed to analyze genomic and metagenomic data (subsequent versions) related to antibiotic resistance.
The presentation focused on the features of the genomic version of PF ABRomics currently in production, highlighting in particular the standardization of data and analysis workflows, and the benefits of the ABRomics-DB community database.
– Claudine Médigue was also present during the two days at the IFB/ABRomics booth in the exhibitors’ area to present the ABRomics project and give demonstrations of the analysis platform (analysis.abromics.fr)!
