ABRomics mentioned in Le Monde: article on antibiotic-resistant bacteria research
In an article published last Monday, Le Monde takes stock of the danger posed by antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and highlights the mobilization of French public research against this health threat.
In a passage devoted to several French projects funded by the PPR Antibiorésistance program, the article mentions the ABRomics platform as a tool which “enables the interconnection and interoperability between multi-omics data (DNA, RNA, etc.) on bacterial strains and analysis tools linked to antimicrobial resistance between hospitals and research laboratories.”
This article also presents Philippe Glaser, professor at the Institut Pasteur, co-PI of the ABRomics project and PI of the Seq2DiAg research project. In his interview, he explains his research on the mechanisms leading to antimicrobial resistance and its impact on patients.
